The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has recently updated the schedule for the 2020 Illinois River closure, stating that five of eight locks will be closed starting in July 2020. We want to do our best to help you prepare. Below is a summary of the closure locations. It has been suggested by industry professionals that southbound shipments from the Chicagoland area be loaded and released as early as June 1, 2020. We strongly encourage you to work with your logistics providers to ensure that any and all specific deadlines are met. B.L.
